Band of Brothers (BOB)

A men's small group of similar minded fathers, husbands and brothers. A place to connect, share and grow in relationship with God, family, colleagues and friends.

Hospital Care Givers

This ministry brings comfort, prayer support and love boxes to those who are in hospital. You can get involved by becoming a care giver and visiting those in hospital, or by letting us know when you or a loved one would like to be visited in hospital.

MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers)

Celebrating and Supporting Mom's because...Better Mom's make a Better World. You take care of your children. Who takes care of you? MOPS International (Mothers of Preschoolers) encourages, equips, and develops mothers of preschoolers to be the best moms they can be. MOPS is dedicated to the message that "mothering matters" and understands that moms of young children need encouragement during these critical and formative years. Monthly meetings.

Money Counting

God has richly blessed Gracepoint with resources to grow His kingdom, and this ministry is crucial as we understand the business of running a church. Your gifts of accuracy and time would be most valued in this area of service. Meets weekly

Prayer Ministry

• The Weekly Prayer Team upholds the Church and its people in prayer, blessed by prayer through the working of the Holy Spirit. Once a week on Wednesday mornings.
• The Altar Prayer Team reaches those who have been touched by the Holy Spirit during a Sunday service and prays with them. Twice a month.>
• The Prayer Chain is a powerful network of prayers who are connected 24/7 to the prayer needs of our church and their loved ones.

Pastoral Counselling

Become a counsellor and provide a real place counseling for healing and transformation, a place where needs are met in a competent and caring manner. Our basic counselors course comprises of a 12 session course and regular supervision. Meets twice a week

Retired Folks

Retired folk meet for fellowship, celebrations and fun entertainment programs such as singing, talks and outings. First Tuesday of every month.

Quiet Gardens

A half day silent retreat providing a place for prayer, silence, reflection and the appreciation of beauty; for learning about Christian life and spirituality; and for experiencing creativity and healing in the context of God's love. Visit the Quiet Gardens Website. Meets quarterly

Welcome Team

The team provides a warm, friendly welcome at Sunday Services, ensuring that people feel comfortable and informed as well as assisting in the smooth running of the service.

Resource Desk

The Resource Desk offers sermons, books, music, bibles and daily devotionals on a Sunday to purchase at your convenience.

Worship Team

The Worship and Music Ministry is a dynamic, progressive and exciting ministry fuelled by a deep love for God and a desire to express it creatively. Worship through song is a Heavenly act and musicality within creation is mentioned countless times in the Bible. Our desire is to be a team that Worships together, not just sings together. We place huge value on relationships, spiritual growth and musicality and as a team we strive to offer passionate, sincere, unpredictable and extravagant Worship to the King.

Dream Team

A group of creative people coming up with (and putting into action) fresh ideas and new ways to glorify our awesome God, specifically for Sunday services and special events.

Easy Worship

We aim to be at the forefront in the advancement of Audio & Visual material & equipment, capturing our congregation with a display of sound & visuals, leaving them changed by the presence of God.

We aim to be at the forefront in the advancement of Audio and Visual material and equipment, capturing our congregation in the display of visuals and sound, leaving them changed by the presence of God.

At Lonehill Methodist Church we are passionate about ministry to young people. We believe that a generation of young people who are on fire for God can really change the world!
