Membership

"They spent their time learning from the apostles, and they were like family to each other. They also broke bread and prayed together. Everyone was amazed by the many miracles and wonders that the apostles worked. All the Lord's followers often met together, and they shared everything they had. They would sell their property and possessions and give the money to whoever needed it. Day after day they met together in the temple. They broke bread together in different homes and shared their food happily and freely, while praising God. God gave them favour with all people, and each day the Lord added to their group others who were being saved."
Acts 2 vs 42-47

God didn't intend for any of us to journey alone. He created us to be a part of a community of believers in which we can find support, nurturing and fellowship and in which we are able to use the gifts and abilities He has given us to serve others. Membership is about finding a place to connect and belong and becoming a committed part of a community of faith.

Members are expected to:

• Acknowledge and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
• Honour the call to serve God with their time, talents and treasures.
• Regularly worship God as part of His Body in this local church.

If you wish to become a member of Gracepoint, we invite you to attend a membership course. These courses are held on Saturday mornings several times throughout the year. The course dates for 2012 are:
